Regulator Boost

The PS2100 is a synchronous, step-up DC / DC converter with integrated low noise LDO, providing two regulated outputs with a single inductor. It can be operated from one, two or three AA cells or a single Lithium-ion cell and supplies up to 100mA on the LDO output and 300mA on the boost converter. The boost implements anti-ringing technology, while super-high bandwidth of the LDO gives excellent ripple rejection and ultra low noise. A high frequency switching (up to 2MHz) minimizes the board area by allowing the use of tiny, low profile inductors and ceramic capacitors.
